All you hear about happening in the world is strife, war, and unhealthy disagreements between others. However, does it have to be that way? Not only is the idea of peace an enticing one to have, but how about a party? Celebrate with other nations on World Party Day.
April 3rd encourages you to celebrate with others around you and in the world as it is World Party Day. Here is an interesting thought as well. Since you hear about war and disagreements, you would think that peace is the opposite of that. However, that is not the case. Peace is not the opposite of war, as parties are. War is fighting over something negative and being the cause for strife, whereas partying is celebrating something that makes you happy. Partying is not just acknowledging the positive things around, but celebrating them.
World Party Day is when there is the goal to synchronize a worldwide party to celebrate the good things in life. Organizations worldwide have fun events happening at banquet halls, community centers, and anywhere else. You can also join the party at home virtually. Social media has virtual parties, so you can celebrate with others regardless of where you live. Instead of fighting with each other, celebrate the good things in life with one another so you can focus on the positive things in life that deserve celebrating. You can even add a theme to any party you celebrate. The point is just to have fun with others worldwide.
History Of World Party Day
World Party Day happened because author Vanna Borita wrote a novel called Flight: A Quantum Fiction in 1995. In the story, the plot involved a worldwide synchronize celebration happening on April 3, 2000. Readers loved the idea of a world party, and then it began taking place in 1996, and it keeps going every April 3 of each year. The concept of the world party is that you leave religion and politics out of it. When you leave religion and politics out of anything, you can have a much easier time finding peace and finding reasons to celebrate, which is the purpose of this day.
How To Celebrate World Party Day
That is an easy one. There are so many virtual online celebrations so you will want to find one and attend it, or you can go to a party near you. However, any way you celebrate the day, share the fun on social media by using #WorldPartyDay in your post.
